Langdon Hills Area Guide

Located in the Basildon district of Essex, Langdon Hills is a parish that has a wonderful community at its core. It is positioned South of Laindon railway station providing a 35 minute journey into London Fenchurch Street. It adjoins the beautiful Country Park offering 400 acres of woodland. The park has picnic areas and a good network of footpaths with horse and cycle tracks linking the surrounding countryside. Families that have a dog, typically love the location as you can enjoy long dog walks all year round. By car you are just a short drive from Eastgate Shopping Centre, Pipps Hill and Mayflower retail parks. You can also drive to Lakeside Shopping Centre in not much time at all via the excellent roads links that are close by i.e. A127 & A13. Great Berry primary school for most, is the school of choice with its continuous Outstanding Ofsted reports - Followed closely by Lincewood Primary school.
